Dural Durabase CI++ Decoupling Mat 30m2 Roll

Dural Durabase CI++ Decoupling Mat 30m2 Roll

Dural Durabase CI++ Decoupling Mat 30m² Roll is a professional tile matting solution designed to help reduce stress between the subfloor and tiled surface. Also known as a decoupling membrane, uncoupling membrane, anti-fracture matting or tile matting, it is ideal for floor tile installations where movement, cracks, screed drying, timber substrates or underfloor heating may be a concern.

This 30m² roll is suitable for use beneath tiles, slabs and natural stone coverings on critical or problematic substrates. It helps manage substrate movement, supports crack bridging and can improve the long-term performance of porcelain, ceramic, natural stone and large format floor tile installations.

Dural Durabase CI++ is especially useful for renovation projects, fresh screeds, concrete floors, calcium sulphate screeds, timber-based substrates and heated floors when installed correctly with suitable tile adhesive. Dural guidance states that the matting can be used over a range of substrates including cement screed, calcium sulphate screed, hot screeds, concrete, plywood, chipboard and wooden floorboards when the surface is correctly prepared.

Important Installation Notes

The subfloor must be load-bearing, level, clean and correctly prepared before installation. Dural recommends applying suitable tile adhesive with a 4x4mm or 6x6mm notched trowel and fully embedding the matting into the adhesive. Loose laying is not suitable. The mat can be installed from when the screed is walkable — always observe the tile adhesive manufacturer's specifications.

Dural Durabase CI++ is primarily a decoupling mat, not a complete waterproofing system by itself. For wet rooms, showers, bathrooms or areas requiring waterproofing, additional waterproofing membranes, sealing tapes or compatible accessories may be required.
